About Us
Paws with a Cause Utah (PACU) is a volunteer organization that brings together costume and character performance enthusiasts to support local charitable and community-driven organizations.
PACU is founded by two Utahns, Oddie and Bon. One has a background in working with children, and the other has a background in communication. Oddie and Bon love contributing to charities, and they adopted both of their pets from a local shelter.
Our organization aims to uplift community members, especially children. We are hoping to make our mark by bringing smiles to faces and supporting local causes.

Get Involved
- All volunteers (both fursuiters and handlers) will be subject to a criminal record check before officially joining PACU. Individuals with any charges for violent or sexual crimes will not be eligible to participate in PACU.
- Individuals who have been barred from participation in any local fursuiting groups or events will not be eligible to participate in PACU.
- All volunteers (both fursuiters and handlers) will be required to complete the Scouting America Youth Safeguarding Training online.
